Happy Wednesday and hope you’re all doing well today! This is my first post for 2018 and I can’t wait to share more posts throughout the year! Today, I’ll be sharing my favourite skincare products that I personally use and my skincare routine. Please note that these products work for me and may not work for you. Please consult with your Dermatologist or Doctor before using any new products and to do a patch test first before applying it all over your skin.
My Skincare Routine (Morning Routine)
After brushing my teeth, I follow a 3 step skincare system – cleanser, toner and moisturizer. I use this cleanser. It smells great, it does not cause me to breakout, great for sensitive skin. After washing my face, I use a face towel to dry my face by gently patting it. Do not rub or wipe your face. I, then use this toner this toner and sometimes this Black Tea toner from Fresh. As for my moisturizer, I use this moisturizer. It’s lightweight, smells amazing and super moisturizing! Sometimes, when I do remember, I apply this sunscreen on (I follow through with this step everyday during the summer though considering how humid it gets at Rogers Centre and when the roof is open).
My Skincare Routine (Evening Routine)
After showering, I follow the same steps as above. After applying my moisturizer, I switch it between these brightening serums from Sunday Riley, this brightening and refining treatment from Sunday Riley, or this one from Fresh.
My other routines
After a workout, I always wash my face with the same cleanser. Afterwards, I put on a face mask. I like this one from Boscia and I also switch it up between this Glam Glow mask and this Glam Glow mask. I recently purchased this Glitter Mask from Glam Glow and liking it so far (my nails were painted black and added glitter to them for NYE and I thought it was so funny my nails and mask were matching). The Glam Glow masks do dry up quickly, so I do recommend reminding yourself to schedule in a mask at least once or twice a week to get your money’s worth. I definitely made that mistake after purchasing my first Glam Glow mask. I also use sheet masks like this from SK-II and this sheet mask from the Sephora collection. The SK-II masks are on the more expensive side, but the Sephora collection are a great alternative.
If I’m wearing makeup, I use this product from Garnier to remove my makeup off.
